I started off by cutting my strips of fabric into 2" strips. I used an old red fabric I had in my scrap box and bought the burlap at Walmart for $2 something a yard. I used about 2 yards of each after it was done
I used my old tree skirt that I have had the past couple years and started glue gunning. No sewing involved!!!
Just start around the bottom and work your way up! It is not too hard just very time consuming.
Love it!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteDo you know what the red fabric was?
ReplyDeleteHow do you make the ruffle? Pull strings or just glue it that way?

ReplyDeleteJust finished this tonight 12/3/16 and it turned out soooo cute! Love the idea and thank you for sharing. It did take some time to finish but very much so worth it. :O)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. I love that you used an old tree skirt and just glued the strips onto it. I love this project so much that I featured it in my post “15 Rustic Farmhouse Christmas Decorations”. http://www.diyhsh.com/2017/10/15-rustic-farmhouse-christmas.html Hope you’ll stop by and check it out.
